Will every submitted idea be used?
No. Every submission is voluntary and consideration does not guarantee that it will appear in a book or other work.
Will I be paid or receive royalties?
No. Submissions do not receive payment, royalties, approval rights, ownership of the series or guaranteed credit.
Can someone under 16 submit?
No. Submissions are only open to people aged 16 or over. Anyone aged 16 or 17 must also have a parent or legal guardian complete the consent section.
Do I need Discord or TikTok?
No. Both usernames are optional. A respectful name or nickname is required, together with the legal signature information in the agreement.
What happens after I submit?
Your submission is delivered privately to Makaio for review. You will see a confirmation on the website when it has been received successfully.
Can I Change My Idea?
No. However, Makaio may change, edit, rename, combine or adapt accepted submissions to fit the world, continuity and needs of The Quirean Chronicles.
What if Makaio creates something similar?
Makaio may already be developing, or may later independently develop or receive, similar characters, creatures, names or ideas. Similarity alone does not mean your submission was used.
